13.4 percent of CT households struggled with hunger from 2011-2013
Data released this month by the U.S. Department of Agriculture shows 13.4 percent of households in Connecticut were food insecure from 2011-2013, including 5 percent who experienced very low food security. Nationwide, it's one in seven households.
