This week's passage of the Farm Bill means a $90/month cut to the food budgets of low-income families as of January 2015. This comes on the heels of a November 1, 2013, cut and the expiration of long-term unemployment benefits.

Trumbull fifth graders raise awareness and funds to fight hunger
Fifth-grade students enrolled in Trumbull's Academically Gifted program donated the equivalent of 9,300 meals to Connecticut Food Bank. The students partnered with us to learn about hunger and make a difference in their community.
