2014 Greater Waterbury Walk Against Hunger

inset photo Sunday, May 18
Hamilton Park, Waterbury

Join us in in this new location for us at Waterbury's Hamilton Park as we gather to raise funds to provide fresh groceries, fresh produce and hot emails to hungry children, families, seniors and individuals. Your support enables us to provide food to people who are served by nearly 700 food-assistance programs in Fairfield, Litchfield, New Haven, New London, Middlesex and Windham counties.

Every step and every dollar raised make a difference! A $7 contribution will provide someone in need with one week of meeals and give hope for a better tomorrow!

Last year, hundreds of walkers helped us raise enough funds to distribute $1.2 million worth of food at wholesale value!

In 2013, Connecticut Food Bank distributed more than 20 million pounds of food, an average of 40 tons every business day. Founded in 1982, Connecticut Food Bank is the largest centralized source of charitable food assistance in Connecticut.
